Abhishek Bachchan brought out his best sense of humour while greeting her wife on her Padma Shri achievement. He sent a bouquet of flowers to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who was busy in shootings of Rajini’s Robot and Maniratnam’s Raavana in Chennai, with a note addressing her as “Padma Shrimati”. The young husband made it clear to the world of his right choice in opting her as better-half in his life by participating, as a proud soul without any inhibition, in each and every development of hers.
Aishwarya Rai, when she landed in Mumbai, was again surprised to see flowers pouring in at airport itself from none else than her in-laws. She incidentally happens to be the fifth “Padma’ award winner in the family with Harivansh Rai Bachchan being the first, followed by Amitabh (twice). Jaya Bachchan and now Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Aishwarya Rai who said that the award was very special to the family also conveyed that she was humbled to receive such an honor from the country, truly making the family proud.
Will it not be apt to now say that they are the true first family of Bollywood?
