We all know that Akshay started his life from the by lanes of Chandni Chowk. It was from there he moved to Mumbai and made a big fortune. But he never forgot the initial days and made a memorable movie Chandni Chowk to China. It was during the shooting of CC2C when he entered the dhaba in the by lanes he was shocked with disbelief to see his photo hung next to that of Mahatma Gandhi.
He almost broke down to see the love and gesture of the people in that place. The director Nikhil Advani explained that Akshay was so moved that his eyes went moist.
