Autobiography by Rubina Ali, the Slumdog girl

Rubina Ali and Mohammed Azaruddin have made more news than any other Slumdog Millionaire’s team members. Enough have been written about their status after the movie’s release and the atrocities they were facing by different circles simply because they hail from the slums in Mumbai.

This time, Rubina, surpassed Mohd Azaruddin in one way. She got a better guidance from a well wisher and an autobiography “Slumdog Dreaming: My Journey To the stars” is now shaping up in the trained hands.

Contractmusic.com revealed this and also added that the book will be simultaneously released in Britain and the US on July 16.

Ali, who played Latika in Slumdog Millionaire, hails from Garib Nagar, a slum in Mumbai. She was picked for the role and after the movie’s release she went around the world for different premieres with or without realizing the value of each and every appearance.

So, she reveals all her details right from her childhood? memories to her days with Danny Boyle and her days of fight and freight with the local authorities who evacuated her family and left them on road only to get noticed by the Government as well as the film producer and be given a place to stay under firm roof.

This autobiography will indeed be an inspiration to many young children.
