In the first of its kind, the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) with its headquarters in Pune, Maharastra, India, has organized a two day interaction programme to facilitate discussions with the Bangladeshi filmmakers.
Accordingly, there will be attendance from the likes of Abu Sayeed, Catherine Masud and Tavnvir Mokammel who ware expected to travel on the 21st and 22nd February to participate in this event.
This event will screen movies from these stalwarts, “Swapna Bhumi” of Mokammel, “Nirontor” of Abu Sayeed, “Matir Monia” of Catherine Masud.
This institution, FTII, was set up by Govt of India in 1960 and this is the first ever attempt by them to focus on the films from Bangladesh.
