Bipasha Basu though hailing from Bengal is not a favorite when it comes to her Bengali accent.
Shob Charitro Kalponik is Bipasha’s first movie in Bengali which has reached final stages. Rituparno Ghosh is the director of this film which does not have the producer’s nod for displaying Bipasha’s particular property.
Yes, it is her voice. The producer is not happy with her original Bengali voice and hence decided to get the same dubbed. But he permitted it in a particular print which would be sent for National awards.
Bipasha is not keen to accept the concept. The movie being her dream project, she wants her original voice to be heard in all the prints and just not inclined to get the movie released with someone else’s voice.
