Ek-The Power of One, starring Nana Patekar, Bobby Deol and Shriya Saran is already ready which may hit the theaters on April 3rd after the final touches.

The “Click” starring Shreyas Talpade is also ready getting into negotiation mode. When Ghajinis and Billu Barbers are around, it is always better to lie low with projects of this kind. Hence the organizers appear to be waiting for right time to strike.

Then the “Cheers- Celebrate Life “ will feature Dharmendra and Bobby Deol in lead playing father and son displaying character and comedy. Sangeeth is also in talks with Soha Ali Khan and Abhay Deol to do this movie that may start its shooting by March.

This being the story, now a fairly not so prominent face, Abhay Deol, has ventured into another form of modern Devdas and the movie is titled Dev D. Here Anurag did not prefer to follow the same pattern of all the previous versions of Devdas. He therefore brought in certain changes to the 1917’s original version with present day’s touch. There are therefore characters like Paro by Mahi Gill and Chandramuki by Kalki. Devdas happens to be a son of Tax Collector and the balance theme is same.

Going by the present trend and the changes in the society, this Devdas is not just an addict of Alcohol, but also drugs. There has been even reports that the MMS scandal of Delhi Public School has also provided certain insight to these film makers. The script updated to the current scenario, is the first project Abhay is doing with his director friend Anurag Kashyap.

Once selected, the voice leads you to the Dev D website and further it is supposed to guide through.

This movie is being promoted totally as an “A” certificate one with full of lust and adult material, finds ways and means to give the audience the feel of what will they get. Thus, this lust line, which is already open, will lead to chats in the lead actor’s voice. Whether it will be lusty or otherwise is for the public to experience and realise.
