Though Karan’s first choice was Hrithik Roshan, many feel that Bachchan junior would have been a better choice. However, Hrithik courteously refused the role expressing uneasiness with the role. So this has opened the doors for Abhishek Bachchan who not only inherited his father’s charm but his talent too!!!

Hrithik apparently didn’t feel like the role belonged to him besides the fact that he is booked for Sanjay Leela Bhangali’s Guzaarish.

Agneepath is one of Abhishek’s favorite movies and evidently, he was approached by Karan Johar to play his father’s role in the film. Karan’s father, Yash Johar, had produced the original movie.

Looks like the movie is being passed down the generations but will it be as good as the original? Let’s wait and watch!!!

NDTV conducted a survey on the standing of the brand ambassadors and undoubtedly Abhishek stood on top of the lot. An award to acknowledge the lifestyle products, gadgets and best technologies has been instituted by NDTV.

Thus, on Wednesday this week, in the function of NDTV Techlife Awards 2009, Abhishek Bachchan was awarded the best brand ambassador of the year.

This event will be a special one for Abhishek Bachchan.

Abhishek Bachchan was approached by the organizers for a lecture on Hindi film industry and Abhi was too ready to do the same. So, he is now busy preparing for the programme all by himself.

The lecture will be delivered by him under the theme “The Road Ahead for India” and some important leads given to him are the process in film industry, the employment opportunities and the reach of the films to the remotest of the places.

Rahul Gandhi, Sunil Gavaskar, Geet Sethi, Vijay Amritaraj are other prominent personalities invited from different professions. Rohan Sippy is the other Bollywood personality who also has been invited to this programme

He rushed from one city to the other to meet and gather the opinions of the audience of his just released movie Delhi-6. All his fans were overwhelmed with this event and gave a good support at all the places he went.

EDM Mall in Ghaziabad, Space at Noida, Crown Plaza in Faridabad, Ambience Mall, Select Citywalk, PVR Theatre Central Mall, Tribune Chowk ( Sec 29),Chandigarh and finally Shopper’s stop in Mumbai were the places Abhishek visited on Sunday the 22nd Feb 2009, thus breaking the earlier record by Geremans for the most public appearances by a film star in 12 hours.

The record was held by German actors, Jurgen Vogel and Daniel Bruhl.

Well done Abhishek for Beating the Previously Achieved Record.

The record for this is held by Jirgen Vogel and Daniel Brihl, both German actors who participated in four appearances in different locations in connection with their film promotions in 2006. They walked red carpets for their film Freund Von Mir.

May be it is time for Delhi 6 premiers. But at the same time Small B is also a known figure and there may be as many functions possible without involving the movie also.
