The role played by Reema Sen in Telugu film ‘Chitram’ is said to have played by Sheena Shahabai (daughter of yesteryear actress Sadhana Singh) in ‘Teree Sang’. The movie also stars Satish Kaushik, Rajat Kapoor, Ruslaan Mumtaz, Neena Gupta and Susmitha Mukherjee and is slated for release on August 7th.

‘Chitram’ which created a star in Uday Kiran and Reema Sen as well, dealt with teen pregnancy. Now Kaushik defense his action sighting numerous examples of films dealing with teen pregnancy and that ‘Chitram’ was not alone. He however appears to have denied copying of any scenes and has decided to challenge through his lawyers.

This has practically come true looking at the number of projects that he’s got lined up! What more, four of them are scheduled to be released this year!!!

The first in line of what may seem to be a blockbuster is Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Kaminey’ followed by Yash Raj’s ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’. In this movie, Shahid plays everyone’s favorite, a lover boy, alongside Rani Mukherjee, in a film that promises to be a good family entertainer. Subsequently, it is ‘Yahoo’, Ken Ghosh’s film which also starts the bubbly actress from ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’, Genelia D’ Souza. This movie emphasizes on dance, for which Justin Timberlake’s choreographer was hired to help Shahid with his already amazing dance skills. Though this film probably might not come out this year, it is still one of the most anticipated movies so far. Well, before the curtains close, Shahid does a special appearance in Ahmed Khan’s ‘Paatshala’ in which he is a music teacher.

Well good luck to Shahid with all of his movies and hope he brings some magic to the box-office like our recent hits ‘New York’ and ‘Kambakkht Ishq’!!

Both of them had gifted each other their attires for the evening. While Sania sported a diamond studded gold-laced pink ghagra choli designed by Shantanu Nikhil which reportedly cost around 20 lakhs, Sohrab was dressed in a white Armani suit, with a diamond broach.

A black BMW announced the arrival of the bride-to-be to this lavish event, which saw Sania and Sohrab cut a specially made 10 kg cake from Bakers Inn to celebrate their engagement. The event was attended by 350 guests most of whom were family friends and VIPs such as badminton star Pullela Gopichand and Union Minister D Purandhareswari.

The event also witnessed the presence of a large number of security guards who were employed in huge numbers to keep out the media and make sure that all went well for Sania on her special day.

The wedding is scheduled to take place sometime next year and until then, Sohrab will pursue an MBA in England and Sania will continue with her game!

About 17500 tickets have been issued to the fans through online draw which saw more than couple of million hits. The fans have to produce the tickets to attend Michael Jackson’s memorial service. 11000 tickets are for the service and 6500 are to attend the same at nearby Nokia Theatre. The entry point at Staples Centre is expected to have electronic control to check the duplicates.

Tickets along with wristbands will have interlock references and tampering may not be that easily possible.

The estimates are pegged at more than half a million people thronging the area and hence there are appeals by officials to the people to stay indoors and watch the memorial on TV.

It is more or less decided that Ritesh Deshmukh will play the supporting role in the film. Also, with Hrithik out of the way, the chances that Abhishek will play the role are pretty high as of now. Both Abhishek and Ritesh shared a good chemistry in Bluffmaster which is very important to imitate the kind of chemistry that Amitabh and Mithun shared in the movie.

Besides these two roles, the cast who would play Madhavi and Neelam is also not decided along with a dilemma on whether the role of the villain Kancha Cheena originally played by Danny would go to Vivek Oberoi or Irrfan Khan.

Both Amitabh and Mithun had won the Filmfare awards for their roles in the movie. Looks like keeping up to this standard is hard work for Karan!!

Apparently, just a few weeks before his death, Michael had been suffering unbearably from insomnia. According to Jackson’s former nurse/nutritionist, Cherilyn Lee, he was resolute on getting a very strong drug called Diprivan in order to be able to sleep!!

Lee said that Jackson was desperately seeking help to get some rest so that he may be able to wake up feeling better the next day. Jackson even had Lee stay over for a night so that she may witness his trouble. In spite of having western classical music and Donald Duck cartoon playing on a computer to helphim fall asleep, he could not sleep for more than 3 hours!!

However, Lee refused to give him the drugs as it doesn’t take much more than the prescribed amount to overdose, causing cardiac arrest. But Lee’s refusal didn’t stop Michael from asking another doctor to administer the drug to him.

Just four days before Jackson’s death, he placed a frantic call to Lee through his aides, telling her that one side of his body is hot and one side is cold!! This bizarre revelation was followed by his death four days later. “He was in trouble on Sunday and he was crying out” said Lee.

The reports of the first autopsy showed that there was a misuse of a prescription drug. However, the final reason for his death will only be known for sure after the toxicology tests which may take about six weeks.
