“Bend It Like Beckham” and “Bride And Prejudice” fame director Gurinder Chadha has been out of focus after these two wonderful movies. The reason, her twins Kumiko and Raunak. Even for the director of this stature, the monthly bills seem to be a mounting worry and that probably makes this London based director come back to her original profession.

Now, how will she manage the profession and family? She has an immediate answer. The work will be strictly with weekends off and the schedule is not expected to go beyond seven weeks for shooting and say 12 weeks for post production works. A Zoo nearby and the editing at a premises next door are to facilitate mixing family with profession.

So, he is now joining hands with her long time favorite Shabana Azmi who she admires to be a classy lady. The movie titled “It’s An Afterlife” will now go on sets soon.
