This week, “School of Life” will be inaugurated as a part of Anupam Kher Foundation. This humble project from Anupam will provide education to the lesser privileged children.

Anupam’s “School of Life” is named, as explained by him, with an intention to prepare the underprivileged children as to how to deal with poverty, humility and rejection and other negative forces in the society. It is designed to concentrate on the children from lesser privileged backgrounds also towards children who become destitute due to destiny or who are forced to beg on the streets. The foundation would work to improve the learning capacity of the children by using child centric methods of teaching inorder to make process of learning more joyous and would also focus on life skills to improve the capacities of critical thinking, logic, expression, problem solving etc with the objective of preparing the children to handle different situations they face in the society. Anupam firmly believes that this effort of his will prevent children from falling into the trap of child abuse, drug/alcohol abuse, violence etc.

Incidentally the Lead India Campaign participant Ujjwal Banerjee would head the foundation.

Anupam’s dream is to reach the project to the nook and corner of India and he is now keen in meeting the like-minded people to help raise funds for the noble cause.
