Danny Boyle, the director of Golden Globe winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ claims to have learnt a lot about Mumbai and its nerves while making the film.
Impressed by the endless opportunities Mumbai offers, this English director is now determined to make a dark thriller on Mumbai. Comparing Mumbai with New York which produces extra-ordinary thrillers he said that the city of Mumbai has got enough landscape, balance and all necessary ingredients, though not much of architecture. He opined Mumbai as having innumerable faces and that capturing it in one movie would be more than impossible for any director. So he is on a mission to capture the bits and pieces.
