Amitabh Bachchan’s nod to do a Bhojpuri film has been now converted into a Hindi film.

Yes, it was Amitabh’s promise to his long time make up man, Deepak Sawant, that he would act in the Bhojpuri film and that made a big news.

But, this dedicated technician of 30 years association with Big B, learnt the tricks of the trade and ultimately decided to drop his Bhojpuri idea and venture into a pure Bollywood masala.

So, the latest buzz is that, Amitabh will be spending a good amount of his time this year, shooting the film for Deepak, who has roped in Hema Malini to do the female lead.

This family oriented film “Great Dadu” also features Sanjay Dutt and Vidya Balan probably as the next lead pair.

Going by the Deepak’s dedication and commitment to Amitabh Bachchan, this movie in which the Big B plays a role of a 70 year old, may probably turn out to be yet another Bachchanalia, the life history.
