The Filmfare Power list released just now has probably put an end for the position between the two Top Khans in Bollywood or are we for another round of public spat between the two?
The survey essentially takes into account the recent achievements of the personalities and hence Aamir Khan with his stupendous success of Ghajini and its mind-boggling collections and his successful directorial as well as production attempts (Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and TZP) have placed him on top of the list beating even the well known names like Yash Chopra ( No 3) and Shahrukh Khan (No 2).
While Shahrukh stood at No2, his friend Karan Johar did not have any reasons to cheer with just one project “Dostana” and hence losing his earlier number to the new entrant Ronnie Screwvala, the UTV owner. Karan is placed at No 5 and Ronnie at No 4
Akshay Kumar also lost his number from 3 to 6 while A.R.Rahman is placed at 8 with Hrithik at 9 and Farhan Akthar at 7.
The Bollywood beauty, size zero fame, Kareena Kapoor is the only woman to find place in this list at No 10, with no other lady in the vicinity.
While all the known names are in the list of Top 10, what surprises is the absence of the names of anyone from the first family of Bollywood, the Bachchan family, who maintained presence in the news on daily basis for some reason or the other.
