The romance and tragedy is always a part of this famous filmmaker’s life and this has become a big attraction to others to form as many stories as possible and provide the best possible masala to the ever-hungry audience.
So, filmmakers like Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Shivendra Singh Durgarpur are now contemplating a movie on the actor-director-choreographer Guru Dutt.
It all started with Guru Dutt himself making a movie on his personal life. It was “Kagaz Ke Phool” and then came Johnny Bakshi’s “Khuddai” in which Rajesh Khanna played the title role Guru Dutt.
It was Nasreen Munni Kabeer’s work on the biography of Guru Dutt that impressed Mehra to take up this project.
The industry circles are now buzz with the news that Aamir Khan will portray Guru Dutt, if this project takes off.
