Sameera Reddy has been recently in Jodhpur, Rajastan for shooting of Yeh Housla under Nagesh Kukunoor’s direction.
Sameera Reddy does not mince words and pours all her praise on the director Nagesh Kukunoor for her unexpected experience at Jodhpur. She apparently seems to have accepted the role based on John Abraham’s advise?? and now claims the role to be one of her best experiences in her life. The role Sameera plays is an innocent village girl who spends her life on mud floors, moving around bare foot, wearing Ghagra-Choli and playing among peacocks.
Overwhelmed Sameera says “The experience in this movie is a very exclusive one. Nagesh’s guidance is something I can never forget. It is like I am back at the school learning the nuances of acting. This apart, who will get such an experience of lovely surroundings with peacock following everywhere? It is so natural and hence I wanted to enjoy this thoroughly. I stayed behind for 47 days continuously away from the hustle bustle life of Mumbai and finished the shooting in one go without any break and at the same time enjoying the exclusive experience in my life. I am now scheduled to go to Bangkok in a totally different culture. I am sure I will miss what I enjoyed at Jodhpur”
It also seems to be John’s advise to avoid a break and complete the entire shooting in one go to get a kind of exclusive experience. Anyone there?
