Mallika Sherawat becomes a pure soul, finds a new fan in Shankaracharya

We are aware that Mallika Sherawat is doing a Hollywood film The Aquarial Gospel in which she plays a role of Saraswati and accompanies Jesus Christ.

The Aquarian Gospel is a Hollywood movie directed by Drew Heriot based on the book published in 1908. It dwells on certain years in Jesus Christ’s life. In these years, the book says that Jesus traveled around the world, from Israel through India, Tibet, Persia and Egypt. He is believed to have traveled the length and breadth of India and took inspiration from various aspects.

During this period, it is shown as he was accompanied in India by Saraswati as co-traveler. This Saraswati’s role is played by none other than Bollywood’s queen, Mallika Sherawat. While the story itself was expected to create a controversy among Christians, it was widely felt that the Hindu community would object to her being portrayed as Saraswati.

But, as the surprises are always surprises, it was Shankarayacharya himself who called herself a pure soul and sent a special invitation to visit his new Ashram in Karnataka.

Shreemad Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shree Shree Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji, the 36th pontiff of Shree Ramachandrapura math, invited Mallika and many renowned priests from Kerala and Managalore for the ground breaking ceremony of Hanuman project at the cave, where it is believed that Lord Hanuman was born.

Sherawat flew down from the US especially for this function. She participated in the puja and dug up the land, ceremoniously, to facilitate the construction of Hanuman temple.

Now, there is an invitation pending from Mallika’s side for Shankarayacharya’s visit to America. If he accepts he will be the first one to do so in the list of Shankarayacharyas.
