This Sunday, the 18th January 2009, will bring the who’s who of Mumbai on roads to participate in the Sixth Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon.
There is an event called Dream Run meant for Charity in which the participants run 6km. Soha Ali Khan, the Bollywood actress, has come forward to participate in this event along with 6 children in support of the Charitable Trust “ The Foundation”.
“The Foundation” is a charitable organization founded by Rahul Bose in 2006 with a goal to step in where it can, to make an effective, lasting change in discriminatory attitudes seen anywhere in lives. The Foundation pledges to under-promise and over-deliver, making its interventions realistic, focused, intelligent, uncompromising, consistent and full of love.
Though there will be many Bollywood personalities participating in the marathon, Soha Ali Khan, known for her support to charity, came out public today declaring her participation on behalf of “ The Foundation”. She conveyed that she would participate in the Dream Run with 6 children and added that the Mumbai Marathon would serve as a powerful symbol in our nation’s integration in difficult times,
