Manoj Nelliyatu Shyamalan, the 38 year old Indian born American director, producer, screen writer cum actor has set his eyes on Slumdog fame Dev Patel.

This movie maker is known for making his movies with contemporary supernatural plots. He started with “Praying with Anger” in 1992 followed by “Wide Awake” in 1995, “The Sixth Sense” and “Unbreakable” in 2000, “Signs” in 2002, “The Village” in 2004, “Lady in the Water” in 2006 and finally “The Happening” in 2008. He is also winner of Padma Shri Award in 2008.

Now, he will be doing a film “The Last Airbender” a supernatural Martial-Arts movie in which he has now roped in the 18 year old Dev Patel.

The film is expected to go on the sets in Greenland in April.
