Chandni Chowk To China is yet another movie that is making good rounds in the industry and keen fans and families waiting to see the performance of Dare Devil, Akshay Kumar and OSO find Deepika Padukone
Dialogue by Rajat Arora, story written by Sridhar Raghavan, directed by Nikhil Advani, this movie is Co-Produced by Ramesh Sippy Entertaiment and Warner Bros, the Hollywood based production house.

To get an idea about the story, it is about an Indian boy Sidhu (Akshay) who is basically a cook hailing from Chandni Chowk. He works at a road side food stall in Chandni Chowk and keeps cursing himself for his fate forcing him to cut vegetables and dwell in such a downtrodden atmosphere. He feels low of himself and wanted to change his fate. His belief on astrology and various other future finding mechanism urge him to constantly consult these predictors and live in a state of dream without any self belief.
His father (Mithun Chakraborthy) a practical person feels for having one such son and tries to correct him by all means. But the fate would have it the other way. Two Chinese, strangers, suddenly appear in front of Sidhu and just like tribes we see in movies, consider him as the incarnation of a war hero and convince him to go with them to China, a land of war heroes.
Our Sidhu follows them to China only to get lost in such a large city Shanghai. He is compelled to prove himself with martial arts and with his determination he masters the art very well. What happens next is very easy to understand. Yes, you are right, fun-filled actions, unbelievable stunts, action packed emotional moments and of course generous display of martial arts.
Deepika’s role is to fill the gaps in two different characters is the sweetheart of Akshay.
With all the days spent in Hong Kong, Bangkok and China there is no dearth for breathtaking backgrounds and exploration of new locations. Incidentally, this happens to be the ice breaker between China and India when it comes to movies.
Well known Chinese actor Gordon Liu begins his association with India with this movie.
Is there any similarity to Akshay’s own life? Yes, there may be. What if he went from Chandni Chowk to Bangkok to work as a waiter, he did go from Chandni Chowk and the matter starts there. Well! The director denies it. Who cares.?
Bappi Lahiri, Kailash Kher, Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy have competed with each other by adding value to the music department with Akshay also trying his hand (voice) for a rap song with Bohemia.
With grand premiers taking place at different important destinations like Los Angles, New York, Torento and London, Dubai and Bangkok, this movie is aimed at worldwide release in Watner Bros own style.
The success of “Singh Is Kinng” must have motivated the Warner Bros to go a bit too far and release the movie simultaneously in different countries .
With Akshay already reaching the top of Bollywood with highest advance tax paid so far, If things go well, a next Jackie Chan is in the making in the hands of Warner Bros and thereby one of the world’s richest actors..
Good luck Akshay.
