A fire hazard took place recently in the Mumbai slum, home to Slumdog Millionaire stars Azharuddin Ismail and Rubina Ali, who happened to escape it by a hair’s breadth!!! The fire caused widespread damage by destroying more than 200 slum homes with 15 people injured in the inferno.
To add on to the problem, the gas cylinders in the houses helped spread the fire and it took 6 hours for the firefighters to put it out!!!
The sound of the explosions woke up Azharuddin to witness fire blazing just behind his home but luckily, none of his family members were hurt nor were any of the houses on their side of the slum destroyed.
