Just hitting the news through his political entry, Sanjay is in news once again. Rahul Dholakia’s flim “Lamhaa” starring Sanjay Dutt and Bipasa Basu was to be filmed mainly in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir. But, fearing certain objectionable contents in the movie, the locals objected to the shooting and forced Sanjay to leave immediately. Initially some fruit vendors and later the students took to protests. The female lead, Bipasa too did not have any pleasant experience. She was mobbed by the crowd and obviously upset damsel also had to leave in a hush. The J&K Govt was worried with the filming process shifting to Manali and went a step beyond to convince and resume the shooting in their state.
Under these circumstances, Sanjay reached J&K again yesterday, to resume the shooting for the movie Lamhaa. With snowfall at its peak, the shooting spots selected are Gulmarg and Pahalgam which are second to none in their picturesque beauty.
The director Dholakia denied presence of any objectionable contents and assured that the movie would certainly be welcomed by the locals when released. He added that the time was not appropriate to reveal the details
