RGV started a movie with a title Raan, which means war in Sanskrit. But as the electronic media propagated it as Run, he changed his mind.
In the movie, Amitabh plays a owner of a news channel India 24×7. So, he thought of changing the title of his movie as India 24×7. He also thought that the title would add power to the concept. Then came the litigation.
India is a title registered by Sanjay Dutt for his sports based film under his home productions and 24×7 is already registered by Percept Pictures Company.
Smelling trouble, RGV pulled in Amitabh to approach Sanjay Dutt to get the rights of the title India. Though RGV was right in one sense that as a good friend Sanjay would not refuse to Amitabh, this time, Sanjay was put in tight spot even by his director Soham Shah. It was firm belief by Sanjay and Soham that the title India is the only apt one for their film and anything else would not suit them. So, it was a humble NO by Sanjay to Amitabh Bachchan. Even their suggestion to use 24×7 also is in trouble for obvious reasons.
We have to now watch what is in store in RGV’s mind.
