Yes, Hollywood has picked him based on his performances in Bollywood. Least the recent failures deter the selectors, but what apparently interested them was his performance in Life In A Metro.
Shiney just signed a Hollywood film, Silver Chord in which he is expected to play a strong role along with superstar Val Kilmer. Director James Ordonez and Producers Mark Canton, Michael Shane and Anthony Romano have come together to present this movie.
It is stated that the director James is instrumental in identifying Shiney from his movie Gangster and later the performance in Life in A Metro has impressed him beyond doubt and thus he is now on his way to making yet another impression by an Indian talent.
