So, if at all there is a strong competition to Slumdog Millionaire at Oscars, it will not be from any other movie than a movie titled “Milk”. This movie combines the political and personal lives of ever growing gay community in the west.
Directed by Gus Van Sant, this movie portrays Sean Penn as an activist named Harvey Milk who fights for Gay rights and ends up being elected to the US office only to get killed by Dan White who plays his partner Josh Brolin.
These Dostana type problems are prevalent in the US which take their own course and penetrate deep into man families. Danny Boyle might end up capturing this next time from the slums of America.
