Slumdog with three more British awards is wide awake for the Oscars

Slumdog Millionaire is just waiting for its biggest day the 22nd of Feb 2009. Yes, the film which has to its credit the four Golden Globes and many international awards has 11 nominations for Oscar. Recently it bagged three British Awards. The Attenborough British Film of the Year, British Director of the Year for Danny Boyle and the Best Screenplay Award for Simon Beaufoy. It will really be a surprise of this does not make it at the Oscars though there are top guns fighting for the most coveted award in the world.
