Coming up is a re-make of yet another Amitabh Bachchan blockbuster Agneepath which bagged the actor a National Award!!! It also won awards in the supporting category at the Filmfare.

Late Mukul S. Anand who directed the original film will be replaced by Karan Malhotra, who was apparently Karan Johar’s assistant!!

Similarly, Hrithik Roshan will be replacing Big B in the movie as the lead. It is planned to follow the original script with a few changes to come in tune with the present century and it will be produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

The remaining cast is yet to be finalized and it is expected to fair quite well with a promise of being in good hands!!

Now, as we see repeated news on attacks by different means on Indian students in Australia, it is time for people of India to come together to make a point against these atrocities.

While there are diplomatic aspects and rallies by Indian students in Australia, the first Indian personality to make a very specific point is none other than Amitabh Bachchan.

After awarding a honorary doctorate to Narayana Murthy, the Queensland University of Technology short listed Amitabh Bachchan for the second such award to an Indian. But, little the authorities would have expected that the incidence would churn out a controversy.

Amitabh Bachchan, wrote in his blog “I have been witnessing with great dismay and shock, the recent violent attacks on Indian students in Australia, on the electronic media the entire day. I mean no disrespect to the Institution that honours me, but under the present circumstances, where citizens of my own country are subjected to such acts of inhuman horror, my conscience does not permit me to accept this decoration from a country that perpetrates such dignity to my fellow countrymen”.

Big B, in his blog brought out certain facts about this movie. He claims that the movie will have many important names, but would not reveal the same now for obvious reasons.

He however chose to open a card saying “Sir Ben Kingsley is playing an important role” in the movie that is being directed by Leena Yadav.

His innovative mind was seen when he brought together the two super stars of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan in Bhootnath. The mind is again at work in KKD where the hero Jackkey Baghnani is projected as the one with supernatural power.

Now, he confirms to have launched his own production house by name Film Zone Productions. Probably sentimentally he plans to bring AB and SRK together in his first production also as he did in his first directorial attempt.

Titled “Buddham Sharanam Ghachchami” this movie is in conceptual stage and its progress depends upon the comforts of both the superstars.

Titled “Aarakshan” this film will dwell on reservation related issues.

Prakash Jha could convince the Bollywood personality who could not stand the real political challenges to play a prominent politician in this film. Yes it is none other than Big B himself.
