Feroz Khan was born in Bangalore, India, to Sadiq Ali of Afganistan and Fatima of Iran on 25th Sept 1939.

This talented actor also was a editor, producer as well as a director in his professional life that started way back in 1960 with a second lead chance in Didi.

Shot to fame in 1965 with Oonche Log, went on to produce a blockbuster Dharmatma in Afganistan and who will forget the evergreen Qurbani.

His recent appearance was in Welcome after a stint with his son Fardeen Khan in Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena.

He is survived by his son Fardeen and his daughter Laila.

Since he was an animal lover, a representative of the International Organisation fro Animal Protection – OIPA lit a candle for him.
