It is more or less decided that Ritesh Deshmukh will play the supporting role in the film. Also, with Hrithik out of the way, the chances that Abhishek will play the role are pretty high as of now. Both Abhishek and Ritesh shared a good chemistry in Bluffmaster which is very important to imitate the kind of chemistry that Amitabh and Mithun shared in the movie.

Besides these two roles, the cast who would play Madhavi and Neelam is also not decided along with a dilemma on whether the role of the villain Kancha Cheena originally played by Danny would go to Vivek Oberoi or Irrfan Khan.

Both Amitabh and Mithun had won the Filmfare awards for their roles in the movie. Looks like keeping up to this standard is hard work for Karan!!

Though Karan’s first choice was Hrithik Roshan, many feel that Bachchan junior would have been a better choice. However, Hrithik courteously refused the role expressing uneasiness with the role. So this has opened the doors for Abhishek Bachchan who not only inherited his father’s charm but his talent too!!!

Hrithik apparently didn’t feel like the role belonged to him besides the fact that he is booked for Sanjay Leela Bhangali’s Guzaarish.

Agneepath is one of Abhishek’s favorite movies and evidently, he was approached by Karan Johar to play his father’s role in the film. Karan’s father, Yash Johar, had produced the original movie.

Looks like the movie is being passed down the generations but will it be as good as the original? Let’s wait and watch!!!

This has proved a good formula as many of the re-makes like Don have stunned all with its astonishing success at the box office. Coming up is a re-make of yet another Amitabh Bachchan blockbuster Agneepath which bagged the actor a National Award!!! It also won awards in the supporting category at the Filmfare.

Late Mukul S. Anand who directed the original film will be replaced by Karan Malhotra, who was apparently Karan Johar’s assistant!!

Similarly, Hrithik Roshan will be replacing Big B in the movie as the lead. It is planned to follow the original script with a few changes to come in tune with the present century and it will be produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

The remaining cast is yet to be finalized and it is expected to fair quite well with a promise of being in good hands!!

Sources revealed that Hrithik was pretty badly hurt while shooting the action sequences for Krrish and it only got worse during the patch work scenes in Jodha Akbar, after which he immediately went for a surgery. But still a need for another surgery was felt due to which he took off to L.A. his well-wishers hoped that he would cease from performing action scenes as it was quite arduous for him to even dance!! But Hrithik has said a bye bye to his fear of doing action scenes in case he hurt his knee.

Apart from the standard stunts, he will also indulge in running and jumping from a great altitude and he is doing these stunts inspite of his doctors’ no nos. These are such stunts that have never been seen before and are also reportedly one of the most expensive in the ad history. Hrithik, who is back to doing action scenes after a long gap of 18 months, is enjoying himself very much inspite of the tiring and tricky nature of the stunts.
