John and Amstrong to do a movie in Hollywood

The Gay boy, John Abraham is turning a don for an English flick.

The sources confirm that he has been roped in to do a movie that dwells on relationship between a pretty young lady and a history sheeter.

Andy Amstrong, the Director who directed a TV series The New Adventures of Robin Hood plans to bring out the inner details of anger and violence in the underworld.

While other details of the project are not yet declared, the buzz is that John is now spending some of his time reading the scripts of this movie and preparing the finer details of his role.

Hope this does not turn out to be one minute show as we see that of others.

Bela Saigal ropes in John Abraham in Chenab Gandhi, no Harman

Looks like John Abraham is everybody’s choice. As Harman Baweja’s dates of Ashutosh Gowarikar’s “What’s your Rashee” are clashing with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Chenab Gandhi”, the prospects of Harman working with Bhansali reached a break point.

So, Sanjay Leela Bhansali who signed Harman started seriously contemplating a replacement.

In these lines, the latest buzz is that Bhansali’s sister, Bela Saigal played a role in roping in John Abraham into the slot vacated by Harman Baweja.

So, the movie, which was to start in December, may now hit the theaters. Well! where is Bipasha?

Anbumani Ramdoss gels with Bollywood, makes No Smoking ad film with John and Bipasha

Anbumani Ramdoss seems to have learnt the trick of passing message to the public. He has been somehow or other associating all his campaigns linking a Bollywood actor. His aggressive anti-smoking drive caught many actors on wrong foot. It includes a few chain smokers like Shahrukh Khan. Even the hotels are now following the ban on smoking strictly.

While this is the case he is further widening the campaign by roping in some notable Bollywood stars as well as sports stars.

As per his recent submission, the Bollywood stars like John Abraham and Bipasha Basu will act voluntarily in a small promotional film. This film is expected to portray Dhoni also as youth icon who are free from smoking.

In Ramdoss words, “I want to see the entire youth fraternity saying that smoking is bad and injurious to health. John Abraham’s Political Connection

Recently John Abraham took pains to drive more than 400kms to Sanghli to grace the function as a chief guest. The location was Rajarambapu Sahakari Vastraudyog Sankool.

He was invited there to inaugurate the launch of clothing brand, Joy’s undergarments. The people of Sanghli forgot for sometime the inability of John to utter even one word in Marathi and enjoyed his presence. Infact some in the crowd questioned for selecting John for this occasion and they were promptly questioned as “who else is there to portray a perfect youth icon. It is undergarments and we need the one who is young and maintains an enviable body”

Well! Where is the political connection? Yes, the brand which John inaugurated was owned by none other than the Maharastra’s Home Minister, Jayant Patil. Now read between the lines.

Castrol Power1 Passion Hunt kicks off in John Abraham’s presence

Biking skills, style quotient, biking knowledge and overall passion for bikes, do these jargons sound anything to you? Are you getting a name immediately in your mind? Yes, you are right. Who else will you think of other than the latest sensation John Abraham?

The British company Castrol also thought the same way and they did no mistake in signing our dear star for an event called “Castrol Power1 Passion Hunt” to single out a most passionate Biker in India.

So, John Abraham flagged off the event yesterday (Feb 6th) in Mumbai which will go on till April 22nd this year. This event will have preliminaries in 8 cities (Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkatta, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad) and the finalists will showcase on 22nd April in New Delhi to win a Yamaha R1 Super bike.

Castrol have roped in PVR Cinemas and Radio City to handle the promotions of this event in about 17 cities.

Sanjay Dutt and John Abraham’s movies shelved

We heard of Kamal Hassan’s Marmayogi being shelved. Now, it is the turn of Sanjay Dutt’s film with Bunty Wallia based on epic involving battle scenes. Both these movies reached the sorry state basically due to very high budget crossing a minimum of Rs 100 Cr. Sources claim that Sanjay’s movie needed much beyond Rs 100Cr and the upper limit stated was to a tune of Rs 200Cr. Seems the rejuvenated Sanjay would try his hand in producing the film all by himself. A good investment by the future MP indeed!

It is infact surprising to see such huge budgets when the prices are coming down and the inflation at all time low. Contemplating the figures beyond Rs 100Cr is something that speaks of the overconfidence of the producers or the directors and looks like sheer madness.

This being the case, John Abraham has got yet another story. He was paid Rs 4Cr for a movie by Astainayak Cine Vision which got shelved due to some unknown reasons. Now, John has sent a message that he would return the money advanced to him before any compulsions come to him in any other form.

The industry is now reeling under unpredictable uncertainties and utter confusion after seeing the results of Ghajini, Slumdog Millionaire and Kites, the Chandni Chowk to China being an exception.
