There is a news that UTV has joined hands with the ever innovative Ram Gopal Varma and decided to attempt a movie titled “Agyaat-The Unknown”.

In a kind of chilling climax beating the best of the best in Boillywood, the story reached its dramatic conclusion when the father of one of the boys came across a handwritten paper in his room and promptly handed it over to the police even as the boy was at the police station denying his involvement in the crime.

In yet another story, there is a British boy of 13,Alfie Patten, claiming to be the father of a child and that story is now sensational with enough channels and producers queuing up to grab the story. The poor situation of the 15 year old girl, Chantelle Steadman, sleeping with five different boys at the same time she bore the child was something they are not concerned about. Instead of the matter becoming a criminal act, there is surprise and all kinds of wooing to grab the story.. is it not pathetic?

While these qualify a sensational crime story for Hollywood and Bollywood, it is something to be seen how these young and active minds get the much needed courage and brains to execute such a crimes.

Yes, the fingers point towards the movies and the uncensored criminal scenes and themes. While the movies can also serve as a kind of eye opener to the public, the effect is more on preparing the criminal minds rather than the poor gullible innocent ones.
