Akshay Kumar who just received his Padmashri celebrated the award in style.
He issued a cheque of Rs 5 Lakhs to the family of Late Constable Tukaram Omble who died fighting the terrorists on the fateful night of 26/11.
Akshay sent his sister Alka with the cheque who met the family in the charity show organized by actor Manoj Joshi and producer Rakesh Upadhyay for late Tukaram Omble.
Not satisfied with this, Akshay also went a step ahead in accepting the educational expenses of the constable’s two daughters Vaishali and Bharti who are doing B Ed and B Com respectively.
