Uru Patel’s Hanuman Without Sita Now, Shilpa Out

Uru Patel, the Los Angeles based NRI Industrialist who wanted to make his brother’s dream come true, ventured into making of Hanuman. He roped in Kaenu Reeves who played Lord Buddha in Bernardo Berolucci’s Little Buddha, for playing Lord Rama in Hanuman. Big Brother finalist, Shilpa Shetty was signed for Sita’s role. Aseem Merchant was to play Laxman and Kevin Costner, the role of Ravana. It is still a news as to who will play the title role. Director Luis Mendoki and Producer Uru Patel are keeping things under the wraps to the extent possible. With all these beginnings, the movie started its shoot in Morocco in the first week of November 08.

This being the case, there is a twist in the story. Shilpa was signed when she was at the helm after her success in Big Brother. Days passed and hence the rating too. Her claim of Rs 2.5 Cr for this movie is now considered phenomenal by the producer and hence the industry is now abuzz that she will not be Sita anymore in the movie.

He is the ultimate bluff master of bollywood. Big Talk and No Walk. Ask him what progress has he made since the multiple announcements of different types to create the hype around some thing which does not exist and will never take off. Hanuman will take off but not Uru’s movies. Why do you even cover such crap? Don’t you have any thing better to cover?
