Recently we wrote about the involvement of Reliance’s big name in getting permission for shooting of 3 idiots in IIM Bangalore which is a Govt property. Aamir also displayed some sense of responsibility in ensuring that the students did not get carried away with the shootings and their studies not affected.
Now, it is the turn of another Khan to occupy the Government property. But this has not been welcomed by the public.
Salman Khan is doing lead role in “Veer’ directed by Anil Sharma. The movie needed a fort back ground and the authorities approached none other than the tourism minister of Rajasthan Bina Kak to facilitate the permission. She, having a special association with Salman Khan was too obliged to get the permission to use the fort.
The problem now is different. The place is a tourist attraction and the unit paid Rs 2L per day to use the fort for five days from 9th of Feb. But the unit has already erected the wood and fibre sets and this resulted in discomfort to the visitors. This has infuriated the guides there and they have now staged an official protest.
This incidence is going to kick off a controversy now. Poor Salman seems to be always in the centre of controversy, this time putting his dear mother like minister in trouble.
